The protection they offer is second to none, and now that they are bakeable, very confortable.

However, not every great skate will fit every person. My son tries on every high end pair of skates in the store when he gts a new pair., and some years he switches because one pair fits better than another.

Try them on and walk around in them for a half an hour or more before you commit to buying.

It's a pre-molded boot, so if they fit your feet, great. If not, you're S.O.L. because they will not ever break in or conform to your particular foot morphology.

The Bauer supreme 8000's (or whatever they are now called under the nike/bauer umbrella) are the best balance of weight and structure for my money. The deisgn and materials also still allow for heat molding and fit customization.

They are the most dourable skate on the market hands down...just look how they are built
