I do take a disinfectant to spray the shower and bathroom floor. I don't generally take my own toilet paper, but I sometimes go buy some if the brand they have is rough!

OHH yes! You never know when your going to go to a stall with no toilet paper and road food may give you the "bubble-guts".... you need to disinfect the toilet seat before piling it up with paper towels and toilet paper.

I normally keep tissue, seat covers and wipes handy. Not so much the toilet paper since tissue can be used for more things. Hand wipes are a must anywhere I go and hand sanitizer.

No, I squat over the toilet and NEVR take the first piece of TP, I run the roll and count to 10, and that's what I take.
Someone could have gotten a spot of pee on their hands and turn and wipe it on the roll, so never take the first piece anywhere in public.

Disinfectant yes... If I'm traveling on a plane, I simply don't go to the bathroom...er, lavatory.

I use baby wipes...I don't like toilet paper...YUCK
and yes with the purell or small bottle of Lysol spray....it is a must in every mothers traveling with kids!!!

No, but I never leave my dog behind and I make sure to bring her her own shampoo and pee pads.
