Is it a good thing that women are becoming more independent nowadays, and not needing a man as much to depend on? Or is it a bad thing?
Do men prefer women that are more passive than they are, or more assertive?

I like my women to be independent and assertive. I think that the time has come for women to be leaders.

It bothers me when a woman is so independent that she is not open to having a man involved in her life.

Women will always be dependant on men and Men will always depend on women.
I'm not for disrespecting women and forcing them to stay in the house, but this whole independant thing IS hurting the family unit.
I think the role of a housewife is just as important as any other career in society, too bad our society doesn't recognize it as such.

i cannot speak for other men, but i myself prefer a woman who is assertive. The concept of helpless women who cater to their husbands every whim is a rather out dated concept, and in todays world, women who speak their mind go much farther than those who don't. And as far as my preference, i would rather have a woman who is outspoken and opinionated than one who is not.
