Truthfully, life is terminal, when you think about it, from the moment you take your first breath you are dying, it is just a matter of how and when. So I guess if you want to look at it from that perspective, everything you do is fatal in some small way.

30 to 40 years ago or so, when our moms were pregnant with us, they were eating tuna out of a can, taking asprin, and we're ok. we slept on our bellies, in lead painted cribs, and it didn't kill us. We played barefoot outside all day, bult soapbox cars without brakes, got banged up, didn't sue anyone, and we're still okay (not rich, but not better or worse). Then we hitch hiked around the country, without fear that someone was going to pick us up or kill us. Now, just a short time later, look at us. There's so much that could of, should of, might of be wrong. Leave things alone!! My grandmother is almost 100 years old, healthy as a horse because she still lives by the ways her mom taught her. Thank god there are still sensible people like her left in the world.

YUP; couple Big Macs; glue, gasoline. Most anything will get cha high...is that what you are after?
Why? Do you question this? You can use your deodorant today? Be highley allergic to it the next. Your body does not stay the same; nor does your mind.Maybe on Tuesday you filled your vehicle, but on Wensday? The smell just the smell; made you sooo sick.
You are (I hope LOL) a humane being. What you are "today" will change; by tomorrow.

Isn't it ironic the same things that were supposed to help us years ago are now in the daily headlines as threats to our health. Sometimes I wonder how we ever survived without seat belts, mandatory child restraints (our kids bounced from coast to coast without being confined and lived to tell about it) microwaves, lead paint (I wonder how much we all munched off our cribs while teething without suffering )asbestos, smoking, beer, aspirin, red dye #4, well you get the picture. One headline would cover it all: 21st Century Deadly to your health.

We're gonna die anyway... right?? Some day, some how.. it's inevitable...

But the point here is a line that I heard in the "Shawshank Redemption" movie, and it said....

"Get busy living, or get busy dying".... So, it's actually up to us to choose.

Yes, many things that we do to/for ourselves are bad. But not EVERYTHING. The things that we do both benefit us and put our lives in danger. It's just the way of the world.
