Should David Beckham go to L.A. for MLS?

Beckham ruined his credibility by playing in the Minor League Soccer. The real reason for him going to LA is so that his wife will be near Dr. 90210 for her needs.

Well, it might be that I am from the U.S! But, I think it would be an honor for him to come, but he might become disappointed in the teams playing! He is injured, but what will happen?!He has to stay now! I play soccer, and many people do in U.S, people across the oceans, are much more competitive, and one reason U.S doesn't have a lot of soccer, is that there isn't a girls team, most of the people at my school in San Francisco, California do!

I think he made the right chose as none of the other big clubs in Europe wanted him and couldn't exactly downgrade from Real Madrid to say Tottenham.none of the big clubs from Italy,England or Spain where interested, combine this with the £128million he will earn over 5 years and its no wonder he chose the USA. its a fresh challenge and his wife seems to be the boss. he wants to become and Actor after Football so its the perfect place to be seen and heard.

Its really his choice.... his glory days are coming to an end :-( and what a way to finish them off in L.A!!! he has given all his potential in england for many years and even though his capabilities are still very good let the (handsome) guy finish off in L.A and what do you know afterwards we might see him continue in the big screen with Hollywood!!!! (i swear i cant stand victoria she seems like a gold digger...)

I think it's a good idea. It's a good deal for him and a good opportunity for the MLS. I think it'll open doors and hopefully bring some good marketing and publicity to the sport here in the US.

with the cash they are paying him wouldnt you, that and he really feels he can make football bigger in america, personally i think its not gonna work b/c even when Best, Pele, and Berchnbau all played in america football never took off, they even held a world cup, i think LA is just going to bankrup themselves b/c they dont have a large enough draw to pay beckham
