My husband and I live quietly, don't break the laws, ride the bus (instead of owning and driving our own car), are friendly with strangers when we are out, and give to the 'charities' that help the homeless in our city ... plus I have 'unofficially adopted' a girl in Uganda and exchange 'e-mails' with her and send her 'gifts' that she otherwise might not have.

For my civics class we actually had to start off by writing an assignment of what "a good citizen" does in our opinion but now I forgot some things cuz it was last year:P As far as i know, it means being a good leader, helping others, recycling, respecting and obeying the law.

To help neighbors, citizens of your community and strangers none the less. Have a positive outlook on life. Be friendly and never put yourself first.
