I have bleached/colored about a week ago. What will swimming pool chloride do to it if I decide to swim?

Will it lighten? Darken? Why? and what else would happen?

If the dye is blonde (in color) your hair may start to fade or become tinted green if you don't wear a swim cap.

For other colors your hair may darken for strong binding dyes or if you used a cheap brand dye then it will eventually just fade out. This happens with all dyed hair, not just recently dyed hair.

I'm not sure but you could try using a swimming cap to protect your hair.
