Tom Cruise (1996) to own on dvd? I've never seen it before, so I'm wondering what your opinion is on this movie.

I recall the movie Jerry Maguire as the only time I've ever seen Tom Cruise really act. I think it stands alone in that regard and I am pretty sure its the largest role I've ever seen for Cuba, certainly his most memorable.
If you like a dramady, then its a good movie to own because you can just kick back with it. Do I think it adds depth to anyone's DVD collection - probably not.

To be honest with you, no. It's not a bad movie, especially the parts that deal with Cuba Gooding Jr's character, but I think the movie itself tends to be overrated. You should rent it first.

yea. its a good movie. just buy it and give it a try. we watched it in school and everybody liked it.
