i mean if u were sexually active but then decided to stop , is it ok to still take the pill , such as the type that give u fewer periods?

Yes it is completely safe! Birth control pills aren't just for sexually active girls.

Yes. Best to keep your body on schedule. Stopping will confuse it.

Not everyone takes the pill for birth control. Some of us take them for medical reasons.

yes. it is perfectly fine, infact if you are going to become sexually active again you should not quit your pills because they take a while to become effective in your body, so if you dont ever stop taking them you will always be "protected" from conception.

yes, both sexually active people and non-sexually active people or virgins can take birth control. some girls use it when they have PCOS or long, painful, or irregular periods.

That's between you and your doctor, but generally, yes. Some women (me, for example) take the pill just to regulate their cycle, not to prevent pregnancy.

Definitely. Plus, you're already prepared when you are sexually active again (still use a condom, though!)
