I've been going to the same school district all my life and I don't really have that many friends. I know everyone knows who I am they just don't talk to me. I'm not mean or anything just a little shy. How can I break from my shell and change their impression of me? Seems as if it would be hard considering most of them have know me for 12 years:P:P

I'll e-mail ya right after this! *blush* M-my advice is really that good? Um...um anyway here is what I suggest:

1. Change your outer-look. Even though it sounds horrible people judge from the outside.

2. Try to talk to some nice people that way they'll know you're a nice guy.

3. If anyone ever comes up to say hi talk a while and get to know them and let them get to know you.

4. Just randomly sit with people at lunch! Ha! It works for me!

5. If anyone drops their books help 'em pick it up and then talk with them. (That's how I met my new friend nya!)

6. And if anyone gets in a fight help break it up.

7. Or be the victum! My best friend saved me back in kinder and that's how we met! *Hey give me a break I didn't have enough confidence back then!*

8. Just say hello to people in the halls or say good morning.

That's all I got! Now I'm gonna e-mail ya!

Ja! *a.k.a Bye!*

I'm 12, I made a lot of friends going to a new school by just talking to people that seemed nice. If they were nice enough, they'd get to know me better, and we became friends. If they're not, they back off, and nothing much happens. Expand your social circle and hang out with different types of people, see where you fit in. If they've known you for a long time, show a side of you they've never seen. Good luck, and be confident in yourself.

smile at them more to let them feel you want to talk. It's most likely that they don't know you exsist because you appear to not want to join in. Find questions to ask in order to give them a chance to relate to you.
