THEN YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO GO OUT TO EAT!

If it happened by accident, like If you go and you find out you're short of money for a tip, explain it to the waitress, then come back the following week and make up for it--give it to the waitress in her hand, if she wasn't your waitress this time. Or you could make a special trip back the next day specifically to give her some money. She'd appreciate it.
If its on a regular basis, you shouldn't eat there often.

If you can't afford to leave a tip, I would suggest not going to a full service restaurant. Go to a place where you order at the counter and you pick up your food, or go to a buffet.

If you cannot afford to leave a tip then you should go to mcdonalds or some other fast food place. servers pay thier bills with thier tips they dont make a good wage without the tips. i manage a rest. and my servers only make 2.65 an hour, so without the tips they cannot live.

so you are willing to go out to eat and spend every last dime you have ?So don't you have other expenses other than eating out.?To answer that quistion,if you don't have enough for a tip don't go or order something that costs less so you can leave a tip.!

if u cant afford it....2 choices one dont give them a tip if u dont have it u dont have it. another one would be to be a little mean like ur getting bad service and that wa u wont feel bad about not tippin

choose a cheaper reataurant before you eat and choose also a cheaper food so that you can afford to give a tip but if you really can't give a tip, then don't as long as you pay your bills

I eat out anyways if I can afford it and choose to do so. That way I at least help to keep their bussinesses open due to my patronage.

Thats a really good question.. but if you new you didnt have enough money then you should carefully choose before ordering. Or you could payy on a card.. or with a check.

you should of came to the restaurnat with some extra dollars just in case your meals' price was over what u expected...waitress and waiters live off of your tips and they work really hard to get them...so you should have had some extra money somewhere in your pockets....
