I agree. If you come to America, you need to learn our language, that's English. Plain and simple.

No, it doesn't bother me. Spanish labels help people better understand the world. Wouldn't you feel bad if you didn't understand something? Also, since I speak both Spanish and English I realize that there are some things that don't translate back and forth. If someone has never heard of a certain word, how else are they supposed to understand it.
Have you ever thought about the fact that people in a lot of countries all over the world have to learn English and put English labels on food, but when it happens in America, that's a bad thing?
And for the people who say that it's wrong because people should just learn English, or have made some comments against illegal immigrants, think about if you had to escape from your country for a better life, would you do it, or not? I think you would. And you would be highly offended if someone was making fun of you.
This land was made upon the backs of people of all races. We are supposed to be welcoming of everyone. Who are you to tell someone else that they shouldn't live here? Yes, you may have been bron here, but if it weren't for the "melting pot" mentality, you wouldn't be here, because everyone would hate everyone.
So maybe, you should get over it, or grab the food, and maybe learn how to "hablar español!"

No it doesn't bother me at all. Latins make up a huge part of the American population.....and after all, America is the melting pot of all cultures so I think that people can stop being so 'offended' with Spanish/French/Asian/ etc..etc.. labels. I can't stand those people that think English should be the only language allowed in the States. Give it a rest. Go to England if you can't deal.

English only labels creates an incentive to learn English. Blame the brands for pandering.

You do know that those same products are sold in Latin America. The companies want to save more and spend less, so they put the directions in many languages, instead of making a set in each language.

Yes, it bothers me. It lowers the quality and quantity of information provided on the product, and is just as bad as goods coming from overseas with instructions in poor English.
When there are 2, 3, or 4 languages on one product label, the print is so tiny I can't even read it!

ummm...Do you realize that spanish speaking people come from "America".....south and latin "america"....if you are going to ask a question that questions a persons ability to speak english, perhaps you should learn correct english terminology...ie... this is the U.S. learn to speak english....
Anyway, I could care less what language the label is in, as far as I am concerned, if you are not Native American, you have no right to criticize anyone else in the United States...

The products might come from different countries. I think the US knows Americans speak English.

Yes it does bother me. But what is worse is the billboards, signs in stores, junk mail, and business with answering machines that you have to press 1 for English!!

Perhaps the cans are labeled to be sold in more than one country. Have you ever bought anything with instructions in more than one language? This is a global economy.
