Hey for english i need to pick a song and see if it has a "Deeper meaning"
So i picked Snow Patrol Chasing Cars because it pretty much is an amazing song =P
However, I just can't think of a metaphor. Like i mean there has to be one for
"Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads"
But i just can't think of it! And any other partt of song & the meaning would be much appreaciated!

maybe "Let's waste time Chasing cars Around our heads" means let's waste time chasing dreams. 'cause cars are fast and pass and go and chasing them seems foolish, and the same with dreams

No, the song is basically about forgetting about everything and everyone else and just being with your one special person for a while. . . it's pretty close to the literal meanings of the lyrics.
