As a Met I'm sure. He played there longer than any other team. He went to a world series as a Met. He was very popular in New York as well. Plus the fact that New York is a high profile place to be and not many Mets are in the Hall of Fame. He will solidify his legacy in New York.

He better go as a Met. Why? Because I'm a huge Mets fan and Piazza was a huge part of the team for a long time. The Mets treated Piazza well, unlike the Dodgers.

Met, cause he played in the world series as a Met and the franchise was built around him for so many years, and he became the catcher with the most home runs as a Met, and most importantly, because I am a Mets fan!!!! Actually, probably a Dodger cause Tommy Lasorda is a Dodger, and you don't go against the family!

I don't know if it can be decided yet. He has close ties to the Dodgers, but most people see him as a Met. But just to guess i would say he will choose Dodgers, since he is very close to Lasorda, and the Dodgers are the ones who gave him a chance. He also had his best season as a member of LA. However I think the HOF people will choose Mets since he spent most of his career there, and he became a for sure HOF as a Met, and that's what people recognize him as.

I think he'll go as a Dodger. The last 2 or 3 years he was a Met, his numbers weren't up to par with the rest of his career. He started in LA. I think he loved both cities, but his ties to Lasorda will entice him to go in as a Dodger.
To the guy who said he won't be in the HOF - YOUR NUTS. He is definitely a Hall of Famer.

I think he will go in as a Met. He was a Met longer and he went to the World Series as a Met. He also broke the record for most home runs by a catcher as a Met.

i think as a dodger bcuz he had his great years there:
1993: 35 home runs, 112 RBI, .318
1994: 24 home runs, 92 RBI, .319 (strike, 107 games)
1995: 32 home runs, 93 RBI, .346 (112 games)
1996: 36 home runs, 105 RBI, .336
1997: 40 home runs, 124 RBI, .362
then traded to TOR, then back to LAD
1998: 9 homers, 30 RBI, .282 (37 games)
As you see, each year, he had an average of over .280, had at least 24 HR and 90 RBI and not to mention led his team 2 a better place.

Oakland Athletic. He will play for the A's 2-3 more years after discovering that DH'ing is a good thing. He will break 500 HR's as an Athletic.

I think it will be as a Met because he had his best numbers in NY
look at his stats from '98 to 02'
he was a top 3 player and the best catcher in the game.
