Caring too much about other people's opinions of me. People at that age especially, spend too much time being concerned about who they "should" be rather than finding out who they really are.

The older and more mature you are, the more you realize that they only opinion of yourself that matters is yours.

I am still a teenager and I want to be less shy, and just be my self around everyone I may come across, in these years of my life. I tend to have to get to know a person for about 5months before i really open up to them. I just want people to know that I am fun, and not boring.

I wish I had more confidence in myself back then. They weren't giving that out in my family back then. They weren't believers of encouragement and still aren't. I'm glad I learned from people throughout my life how to get what I needed. It sad to waste a life by not giving the essentials of coping and encouraging in all of the areas we need. If we realize we are lacking, we can try to correct it.

I was shy and not confident at all. I felt ugly and worthless, because I let the bullying and harassment of others form my own self image. If I had it to do again, I would be more assertive and certainly more confident. And I would tell those bullies where to get off.

Probably that I didn't throw caution to the wind and have more fun. I had fun but I was cautious. I wish I was less cautious and just did what I wanted. I was so worried about what everyone else thought it held me back from becoming who I wanted to be.

I wouldn't take back any of the stupid or immature things that I did because I wouldn't be who I am today or where I'm at today if it wasn't for any of those things.

I wish I had been less shy, felt like I was a worthy person and screw anyone who doesn't like me or made fun of me.
