while it is certainly bad for everyone in the car, it is not illegal. there was a bill that the gov't tried to pass saying that you cannot smoke with someone under the age of 6 in the car, but it did not pass.

Being an ex-smoker, i did not smoke round my babies. quite usually because i did not desire them to imagine that smoking became an proper issue to do. there are a range of factors which could characterize endangerment from 2d hand smoke. Smoking in a smaller restricted area as compared to open aspects can make a huge distinction contained in the well being threat for babies. variety of cigarettes smoked could also make a distinction. yet i imagine the most threat comes from putting the example that smoking is frequent and an ok issue to do.

In some states it is illegal to smoke with young children in the car. My advice- don't.

While I was growing up, my parents smoked ALL THE TIME. It was especially hard in the car. We were sitting ducks. One one parent finished a cigarette, the other one started up. It was horrible.

In the state of Louisiana, yes. I am unsure about other states but soon the laws will be so stringent that if you lite up with a child in your own home you will be breaking the law.
