You will probably know that smoking it over a long time can and does often lead to mental health problems. I have seen it first hand so never think it's not true. I have seen young lads on a psychiatric ward who will always have mental health issue solely due to the long term effects on the brain of cannabis.
Don't get into the uppers to compensate the downers...just inviting more trouble. Not preaching...just telling you in case you didn't already know.
That's honestly the best answer I can give you. I'm not some snoot who thinks it should be completely outlawed either...I tried it once but didn't like it.
Drugs are often used daily when there is something you want to avoid in life....that life seems a bit overwhelming....is that you?
If it is...try looking at what scares you in life.

Oh, the effects of Weed...well, I had the same effect...I was smoking like every other day and I was so tired. I actually failed a semester of college because i started getting so lazy...so i agreed to myself that I could only smoke on special occasions...and i havnt smoked in over 6 months...boy do i miss it, but my future is way more important. Im off for spring break this week and im tryna get my hands on some goody goody, but i have some other important issues to deal with...
the only thing i did that kinda helped was drink tons of energy drinks, but even that didnt help a lot

I find that if you take off at least two consecutive days a week (like the previous reply) you will be much better off. Try Monday and Tuesday, they suck anyway! That way you can enjoy your weekend. :) I also find that cannbis slows you down a LOT less than alcohol. (I mean you smoke one joint and you're stoned... you would need at least five or six beers/glasses to get a similar high, lol) So to all the naysayers on yahoo!answers, you guys have a superiority complex. Getting slowed down, while high, is not a bad thing, if you don't have anything really important, like say, go to work, visit the doctor, lawyer, or make life altering decisions. In other words, chill out at home, and enjoy your mental vacation.

Have 2 days in the week where you do not smoke draw. You will find that you will have more energy and can get things done if you do that.

you need to be a enhancement smoker. lol. I like to do fun activities that are more fun when im stoned, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, skimboarding. My friends and i play basketball and its awesome. I also play music all the time when im high. I find i can find more to do when im high! Please do not fall into the lies that people say smoking ruins your life or you can't do anything, obviously all NON-smokers who have no clue what they are talking about. Smoking is your right (although illegally) and I say Smoke on.

Usually makes you sleepy and caugh
If you have latent mental problems they can be triggered by it. Usually there is family history of this. or say you have had lots of truma say you were raped.
Also like most things you be greedy and it can mess you up.
ie get parnoid or all you do is smoke it.
Also note as usually mixed with tabacco you get ALL the problems associated with cigarettes
Also do a lot memory problems.
Basically if causing you problems dont do it... its really that simple.
Find something better to do like absaling

Try not smoking the ganga and go for something from a health shop, herbal flavoured tobacco.Sounds bad but it will do your head no damage. LOL

drink lots of coffee... get plenty of exercise... eat a healthy diet, and get plenty of rest. Also, try not to smoke right before going to bed, or first thing in the morning.
