I've heard that it can take up to 6 months for your period to become regular after you first start. I hope you're not sexually active yet, but just be warned that you CAN get pregnant at this time, even if your period hasn't stablized itself yet.

I am not a girl, more a woman, probably old enough to be your Mum, i am assuming your a teenager.
Periods will get regular, your body is just getting use to having them, you will eventually have signs in your body that tells you its your monthlies time, but this does not stop people having an active fun life going camping etc.
You can now buy sanitary things from places like boots and superdrug that also have small plastic boxes that can be concealed in your rucksack, and most guys don't have a clue what they are.
Have you spoke to your Mum or an Aunt or even a Female Teacher about this?
Or a nurse at your doctors? some nurses give advice, and are approachable too.

It can take a while, as in years. Some women never get a regular cycle. Luckily tampons aren't that big so you can always just throw a few in your backpack :) Often women who have an irregular cycle take the pill to regulate it, but it's a little early for you to start considering that at this point. What you're going through is a hassle, but it's perfectly normal. Welcome to the joys of womanhood, lol.

It will probably take a few months for them to become really regular. Until then, be sure to take supplies with you no matter where you're going. Camping out isn't the only place where it's unpleasant to be caught by surprise!

it could take a couple of months if you just had your first in january. a long long time ago when i first started i didnt have my second period until 6 months later, then i had my 3rd three months after that. it took about a year or so until it got regular.
but if youre worried about being caught off gaurd put a few pads or tampons in your bag or purse and keep some there at all times just to be safe.

If one is just starting their period for the very first time it can take some time for it to regulate itself and this is normal. But to be on the safe side check with your dr if you find that it doesn't come in about another month as one of the other posters said suggested, or also to just ease your concerns (this I would highly recommend).

It usually takes a year for them to regulate. However, sometimes even after they regulate there are still going to be times for the rest of the time that you have them that they will be irregular. But, they do become more regular after the first year.

If you just started getting them than it could be a few years before they become regular. I would just suggest to always be prepared with a couple in your purse and a lot when you are going to be away from home for more of than a few hours.

I got my period when i was 12 and it regulated ok now dont you worry it may take a while if you dont have one soon go to the doc. Ok dont worry you ought to be glad your having a break from yours if its a bad one just be sure to keep products with and keep a calendar and stuff so you can document and try to predict your period. Hope this helped.

The first year is always irregular while your body adjusts.
Your periods should regulate by the time you're 18.
