this question is so difficult. as much as i love my wife of 35 years, i'd do more mourning over the death of my son. my rationale is that my wife had an opportunity to experience most of what life has to offer. my 24 year old son is just beginning to start an independent life and has so much more to learn, take in, and grow from.

I don't mourn people's crossing over into the next world. I celebrate their lives and live mine so I can be with them again when it is my turn.
I would MISS my husband most of all.

I would probably mourn for all, and it would be because I'd missed them. (Even though I didn't like some of 'em.)
