Go find a cafe or place where people gather for coffee before work or on the weekend. This is a great way to meet people. Also try your public library to see what is going on so you can get out and meet people that way. You also should go by the Chamber of Commerce and get info on the stuff going on in your town. Look around for a Church too as you will meet lots of people that way. Good luck in your new home!

As your workmates out to lunch or drinks after work. Stop by and meet your neighbors. Attend a church.
