Ben Affleck is really a Pearl Harbor survivor, they never mentioned that in the film.

Roosevelt and his gang of dummycrats knew it was coming and left it happen to get into the war without opposition. He was a real operator behind closed doors and friends were well taken care of by him. As usual the dummycrats like to leave out the negatives about him and Truman but those who know real history understand how corrupt things were even back then. Roosevelt also had a mistress but everyone kept quiet about it not like the media would jump on things today.

There was a lot of historic liberty taken with "Pearl Harbor". A better film, from a historic perspective, would be "Tora, Tora, Tora.
