Listen to what you want. Who really cares what your friends think? I have no idea what "sexy back" is or who sings it. I am 42 and listen to Led Zeppelin, Rush, Iron Maiden and Guns and Roses. Frankly, I like what I like and couldn't care less what somebody else thinks. BTW, I am also employed in the corporate world in a very conservative profession for a very conservative company.

Listen to what you want. Real friends will accept that irrespective of their personal musical preferences.

Never listened to 'Sexy Back', but wouldn't dream of it. I like a varied range of music, jumping from classical, to rock, to classical rock, to jazz, to 'style' music, but NEVER rap. I just don't like it.

You probably like different things. Embrace that. The 'flow' might leave you high-n-dry when you are unique in your interests, so don't try to avoid it.

Hey, try an' convert some of your friends to good music!

But, as always, if your friends like a song, they might have a good reason. Just listen around.

Do not let your friends make you feel bad. Good music is good music and is timeless. Tell them that it may be an older song but you like it. You will find yourself liking more and more music and going further and further back as you get older. It is nice to have years and years of great music.

That song sucks anyway. Everything I listen to is at least 5 years old. Music was better before. It's all watered down and MTV-type crap. Your alright my friend.

No, listen to what you like, it doesn't have to be totally up-to-date. SexyBack is definitely a new song though. Try..like..The Velvet Underground (which is an amazing band) if you really want to be worried that you're listening to "older" music. : P

you should get a little more out of date, listen to some pink floyd, zeppelin, beatles. They have real songs and lyrics unlike "sexy back?"
