can you still have a yeast infection if there is not itching present?

if there is just a lot of smelly thick discharge...

and they have been checked for stds and are clear.

i just got over bacterial vaginosis, had that about 3 months ago...

You need to see a Dr. there are several annoying but not serious conditions as well as more serious conditions that can cause this. It can even be caused by diet, allergic reactions to feminine product's and cleanser's, bacterial infections....the list is too long....just talk to you Dr. about it so he/she can rule out anything that could put your health at risk.

Yes, you can still have a yeast infection if there is no itch. I've had that happen a couple of times.

But because of the smell it could be bacterial vaginosis. Pls see your dr to be on the safe side.

Yes, but it could be a number of things. When a woman ovulates she may experience a mucus like discharge. If there is a foul odor to it she may have a bacteria infection. Either way she should see her doctor while it is still just a small problem. There is really nothing to lose she will only get better.
