When it is off balance it is because you have too many clothes in it. Try and put your clothes in slowly, evenly dispersing them around the washer. Fill the washer about 2/3rds of the way with clothes. For jeans or towels, fill at most to halfway with clothes.

Try slipping a nickel under the offending corner or corners. Most washers and dryers have screws with wide discs which you can adjust . There is one of these "legs" in each of the corners. You will need an inexpensive little tool called a "level" to be able to tell when you've got it just right. If the tub itself is off-balance, lighten your loads. Also try running a load of plain water through once in a while.

If its not the clothes you will need help,to adjust the feet on the bottom of the washer, or try and put some card board or a piece of wood .on the side you think is the problem.

Open it up, wait until it stops spinning, and move all of the clothes around in it. They usually get smooshed to one side or the other:) Just lift them out, and kinda' re-arrange them so that they are equally distributed around the aggatater. Shut the lid, and see if it is o.k. then. Sometimes you have to do it a couple times. If you try to put things in about the same weight & size it won't happen...but if you put in a heavy towel with some lightweight items, things get off balance.
Hope this helps:)
Good Luck!!

Redistribute the clothes evenly and don't over load the machine. Have a nice day.

Bubba is right. You can also check to see if the machine is level with a level.
