Just thought this might be interesting if anyone can make an argument that anarchy and tyranny though appearing to be on opposite ends of a spectrum are really of the same construct.

this may be true of all tyrannys (tyrannies?) we've had so far and are likely to have in the future, but by its definition, a tyranny can also be the complete opposite. A good example is the Patrician. the only real similarities you can draw from an anarchy and a tyranny, is the both may expierience alot of death. The Difference is, the death in a Tyranny (such as Hussein's, or Stalin's) is government controlled. The murder in an anarchy would come from the lack of government in the society, so i really cant see how these too are that similar.

I really don't think you can. If natural law exists, it is built around the premise of respect for human life. In my opinion, the greatest respect for life is to leave it the heck alone so it can make its own decisions. Anarchy does this, while tyranny does not. This is the fundamental difference, and thus they cannot be the same.

Anarchy is rebellion against Government perpetrated by Zealots of a particular faith or belief. Tyranny is Oppression and Manipulation of the peoples by the Government.

I can't do it. Anarchy is the end of the far left and tyranny is the end of the far right.
