I'm an ex-soldier who fought in Iraq. I didn't agree w/ the war, and neither does a majority of the troops that are fighting. But it's our job that we were ordered to do, because we took an oath to follow the orders of the President of the United States, regardless of whether or not we agree with them. We don't choose what those orders are, and we don't choose what wars we fight. Anyone that says they don't support the troops is completely un-American, and is a complete disgrace to those that died in this fight. "Hate the war, but don't ever hate the warrior"

Troops have to obey the orders of Government. It is not necessary that they support the war. Persons who oppose war do not mean that they do not support their troops.

I support the troops 100+percent, but I don't support the war. We were lied to as to justification for going in and we've been lied to consistently by the administration.

No you can not!!! To the nuts that think you can think about this.>>> There is a difference between hate and support. You can hate the war and love the warrior. You can also hate a warrior but love the war.
But what you can not do is support someone when they are doing somthing you are completely against. That is simple hypocracy. Try not to change the terms when asked the question. No one asked who you hate or who you love, like or dislike, the question is can you support some one who is doing somthing that you beleive is wrong. The answer is no.
Larry are you talking about yourself when you mentioned the thing about an independant thought? I would also like to mention that an independant thought that is not rational is an irrational thought. Independant does not mean well thought out, infact if quite mean the opposite.

For all troops, that are not psychotic killers or looking for Collin Powell payoff, vote for political candidates that will support ending involvement as fast as possible, and give professional solders ticket to South Korea. Those that want more action should be free to join Iraq arm service.

You damn sure can !!
I strongly believe that--- you can love and appreciate the men and women in the service of this country and care the absolute ultimate about their welfare and well being AND at the same time loathe the policies and procedures and the political wranglers that are in control OF them and the premise OF the situation that they are in !!!!
This "Package Deal" crap is a genuine load---- It comes from the belly of the beast that says to be a "good" American --- you have to "sign off" on all the trash being thrown out on us by the little "ceasar" we have as a dictator----I mean "decider"---(BY the way -- while we're there--- what other THAN a decider IS a dictator anyway ???????)
As an American---while you still can--- you can support and withhold your support on any damned thing you want--- and to be TOLD how to do that--- what's "allowed" and "not allowed" especially by people who haven't had an independent thought in at least six years--- is the ultimate in LUDICROUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
