What is AntiVermins??

Question

I keep getting a pop up that's telling me that my computer is infected with adware and spyware and that the only way to get rid of it is to download this AntiVermins software. I also have this little flashing icon on my toolbar that looks like an alert sign (it's a yellow triangle with an exlamation mark on it), and when I click on it it opens up this window: http://www.antivermins.com/?aff=11018.
I just downloaded Spybot and cleaned out all the adware and spyware on my computer, but I am still getting these pop ups...is this a legitimate program or a virus?? And if it is a virus or adware, how do i get rid of it?? it's annoying me :(

AntiVermins, AntiVerminser, and AntiVermeans are rogue anti-spyware applications that use aggressive and deceptive advertising to goad you into purchasing the commercial version of their products. These programs are known to be installed on your computer without permission along with malware and Trojans.

This is installed by a Smitfraud Trojan. Smitfrauds require specialized programs for removal. These two site have free programs that will remove the Smitfraud that installed AntiVermins.

antivermins is fake antispyware, it is useless. creators of this program probably know that no one could buy it so they created a trojan. this is what you got.
i thought that spybot can erase antivermins, maybe you need to update it and try one more time. in case this doesn't work, try manual antivermins removal :
