None.

Catholics believe suicide when committed in full knowledge and deliberate consent is a complete turning away from God (a mortal sin) and will send a person to hell.

There are 3 conditions of a mortal sin: grave matter, full knowledge, and deliberate consent.

While suicide (or any kind of murder) is always a grave matter, people who commit suicide may not always have full knowledge of what they're doing. Drugs can definitely impair one's thinking, as can other things, such as diseases, intense pain, or anguish.

Therefore, suicide is not automatically treated as a mortal sin.

We are commanded by Christ not to judge others so we leave final judgment to God who alone knows each person's heart.

With love in Christ.

There is not an acceptable situation for suicide in my opinion. In some circumstances it is understandable, if perhaps the person is dying of a disease and is in great pain. But there is usually an answer to most problems other than suicide. Good Luck.

I cannot think of any circumstance in which I would choose to suicide.... except to save the life of other(s). But that is because of my spirituality. I am certain that we reincarnate; and I believe that suicide is an (F) grade in a life's "test" and that those who suicide have to experience again challenges similar to what they have suicided because of.

I do though feel for how desperate some people get, and mostly they are believing that death will end their suffering. To me, that belief is false, but understandable.

'Acceptable' - acceptable to whom, the person leaving this lifetime or the people left behind, or do you mean god?

There isn't a right or wrong answer here. This is a personal choice. None of us have the right to judge and none of us really know the answer to that question.

Why are you thinking about this question right now, what's going on for you? Whatever it is, I wish you well.

If it's even considered a suicide... then to give one's life for the lives of others. Go ahead. You get into the lifeboat. I'll be fine right here.

The note "suitable" is relative and pertinent purely to that relativity. what's suitable to at least one might want to no longer be to a special. Use the celebration of a undercover agent for the duration of international conflict ll the position being captured by the enemy. to at least one section suicide is the fastest thanks to circumvent secret options from getting out and is more desirable than suitable yet to the section that desires that options suicide is the cowards way out. a baby porn fanatic might want to discover suicide the further useful thanks to face truth yet to three it truly is no longer the answer. it truly is a relative ingredient i imagine. some like the idea and others do not. yet to the useless individual who made the decision is going also the suited of reasoning.
