Because society has given each race a particular role and style that they must submit to.

If you're black and you love rock (even though blacks invented rock) you get weird looks.

If you're white and you love rap you get weird looks.

If you're hispanic and love classical music you get weird looks, too.

So...if you're not white and you go into a store that sells clothes that mostly whites wear, you're gonna get weird looks.

That's how the world works, unfortunately.

That has never happened to me. But then again, I'm Hispanic and haven't worn an Abercrombie or Hollister shirt in a long time.

Maybe because who ever is staring is jealous that they don't look as good in Abercrombie or Hollister.

That is not what we wear typically, especially in the media. So people try to put you in a catagory.

are your pants gang style? loud mouthed? there are places for certain behavior & that is not one of them. There are rules to the game of life & we do not make them. How do you present yourself? Sorry- you have got to play the game or be "stared down" what part of town do you want to play in. Your choice.
