i recently put two different CDs on my ipod library... but every time i attempt to update it by plugging it in... it doesn't work... what's wrong? i've never done anything special before... i always used to plug my ipod in, and then it would update. now i plug it in, and when i remove it, it doesn't have any of the new information on it...

well, no that's not the case.... the itunes responds.. the informational window pops up like it's uploading... but nothing up loads...

It could be something with your cord. If you have a Mac click on help and type in your problem. If not, redownload all of your songs.

Make sure that the plug is in all the way or try a different USB. And make sure you click the eject button on the ipod in itunes its the little button next to your ipod's name.

hmm... it sounds like you have it on manual update... this allows you to pic what you want to put on your ipod though playlists or just dragging the song to the ipod,instead of automatic updates...to change this when you have your ipod hooked up just click on the ipod icon button off to the left(not the music button or playlist make sure its the ipod one)under devices it will show tabs that say summary ,music, podcasts, photos, contacts... click on the summary tab and then if manually manage music box is checked then uncheck it and then it should work if you get to the summary tab and the manually manage music isnt checked the idk theres something wrong with you itunes

Make sure the cord is pluged in...wiggle it around....do you have a new computer??? that could be a problem....
