Not until we eliminate the "race" categories and just live around each other and view each other as people.

Sadly no there will not ever be an end to racism, just look at all the ignorant people walking around and still indoctrinating their children with their hat e and stupidity. It will continue to be a vicious cycle, people are afraid of what they do not know, and the portrayal of some races in the media are not too flattering. For many people the only thing they know about different cultures or races is what they see in the media, so that is what they base their opinions on.

Only in a person's heart. I'm white, but have absolutely no prejudice thoughts about other members of different ethnic groups and nationalities. I have, however, been on the receiving end of racism from African Americans, Native Americans, and Hispanics, simply because of hatred derived from America's past and the teachings they have recieved. Now a days, most racism comes from the teaching of parents and social members that pass along uneducated teachings during a person's adolecent years. If a father or mother has a strong hate toward a certain group of people, 90% of the time a child will grow up with those same thoughts. Little by little, racism lessons in the U.S. and in other countries, but as long as people have different opinions and grow up in areas not mixed with different cultures and ethnic groups, racism will, unfortunately, exist.

Racism exists in every single country in the world as well as in the back of every person's mind. So, no there will never be an end to racism, so long as human beings exist.

Of course not. As long as America recognizes race as such an important thing, race will be a huge factor in how a person is judged.

As long as there are differences, there will always be prejudices. Human nature I guess. America was birthed in hatred and racism, it'll die in hatred and racism. I don't like it, but it's true.

Not for a long time. People would have to learn to ignore race and treat people with respect.
