None of the major truck rental places rent flatbed or stake bed trucks for one-way trips. I am moving some robots, and they are seven and a half feet tall, so they don't fit in most box trucks. The weight of the total load is 15,000 lbs. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Why not program them to get there themselves? Sorry - couldn't resist. Otherwise - can they be loaded horizontally?

See what sort of price you can negotiate for a round trip and if necessary take someone with you and pay them to drive the truck back for you.
