Man there were some pretty awesome answers up there, and I would have to agree with a lot of them! Lambert, Mean Joe, Romanowski, L.T., All those guys were pretty freakin scary! But I'm surprised not more people mentioned Reggie White (198 career sacks!), Kevin Greene (160!), or even Bruce Smith from Buffalo! I definately love the one who said OJ! That's freakin sweet!

It has to be #56 Jack Lambert or #75 "Mean" Joe Greene. Lambert with his missing teeth would grin at the QB before he sacked him and then there was Greene who would break through the line in an instant.

I'd have to say William (Refrigerator) Perry, Bill Romanowski, and Reggie White. You'd either get flattened like a coin on a railroad track, or you'd risk having your legs or fingers broken.

Jim Brown. Back in the day nobody could tackle him and that had to get in their heads. Nobody could stop him. Everyone knew that as well. Therefore he had to be the most intimidating player of all time.

theres two of them. lawrence taylor is a shoe-in, no one wanted to go in his direction. i saw him get triple teamed in a redskins game way back in the day. he still sacked whatisface.
the second one no one will recognize. his name was bronco naguski, back in the thirties or forties. he was a fullback that could literally squash people. he would drag half of the team into the endzone sometimes. his flat out ability to pound people was amazing.
His highlight: he ran looking down, so he ran straight through the endzone (with three people hanging on to him) and hit a brick wall behind it... he knocked twelve bricks out and was in on the next offensive series
