Another tale to bring a tear to your eye: a nurse in the VA tells me of an orderly -- one of us post-'Nam syndrome -- has twice beaten patients in VA hospitals severely. H e couldn't take their abuse -- one threw excrement on him. What has VA management done?? -- nothing!! The orderly needs help (God save him), but so do his patients. Where is the VA command???
