I'd def. say Chevy. I know a lot of people will disagree, but they've proven to be very good quality over the years for me.

It all depends on your budget, personally if you go with a foreign car sometimes you have to wait for the part to come in and this can takes days. If you stick with American the part can be there over night. I have own various make and models and for me Chevy is the way to go as far as engine, Ford Trucks best with suspension, Pontiac with hard bodies... Once again, depends on your budget. As far as foreign, I go with Honda, Toyota... Hope this helps...Have a great day..

Take your pick. If you take of a car it will last you a long time with no major problems, I drove a Chevy Caprice to 240k miles and never had the engine or transmission out. I sold it for $500 3 yrs ago and the guy is still driving it. But I take care of my cars all have lasted me good. Good luck.

Always buy a car from a company run by ENGINEERS, not accountants.

This means never buy a car from Ford, GM or Chrysler.

Yes I know Chrysler is owned by Daimler, but they are trying to unload this company because they really did not realize how really horrible these products were.

Stick with Japanese and German cars. Toyota if you are on a budget, Mercedes if you can spend freely.

The most dependable car I ever owned was a Toyota. But Chevy is running a close second.

Volkswagen is an anomaly. People either swear BY them or AT them.

Me, I swear at em!

anything untouched by lazy UAW workers.

to terryh: youre overpaid and underworked. 10 hours a day is nothing, try being a nurse or anything that uses your brain for twelve hours a day, then get paid like you didnt even touched college, like you. lets be honest here, UAW is nothing but a group of gangsters, who fooled buttloads of joe blows to pay dues. UAW will eventually destroy every american car company soon.
