I had a histerectomy and people are telling me not to take hormone treatment (pills) cause it causes problems. Is there any natural way to do it?

After I had my hysterectomy I tried hormone replacement and it just didn't work for me. I had a lot of problems and they even thought I had breast cancer at one point. I opted to stop the therapy. there are alternatives...talk to your Dr. about it. Lot's of luck to you. feel free to email me if you have any other questions I might be able to help with.

There are lots of theories about hormone replacements; I decided to go ahead and take them because 1) there is no history of cancer of any sort in my family and 2) there is a BIG history of osteoporosis in my family. This is only me, though - everybody is different, and I strongly suggest that you talk with your doctor about what is best for YOU.

Yes you don't have to go on hormones... they are there to help. My mom was worried about that too, so she checked with her doctor and decided not to take them anymore she just deals with whatever if thrown at her. Talk with your doctor they can help.

My mother supplemented with "natural" HRT and got breast cancer. I also had a hysterectomy and have not had to have any HRT.
