This is a Junior Fine Arts class that I have to right a research paper on. Its not due for a while but need to get started on it. Any advice for a good topic. Can't be about Shakesphere himself, but on one of his plays. Thx

King Lear was a good one for research when i was in college ( that was a few years ago).It is a good play with a lot of subtext and the fool character reveal a lot of the sub plot. it is also a play covered in Cliff Notes which can give you a jump on dissecting it. It is also a bit off the beaten path so not likely to be chosen by half your class. good luck!

i did papers on several plays, king lear was one of them. it was rather interesting. i also did one on romeo and juliet about the thin line that lies between love and hate.
