In theory I think willing, consenting adults should be able to share a life if they want to, although if they divorced it'd be five times the nightmare...
In practice it's usually done to young girls who have no other choice, don't know any better and can't escape. Frankly I can't imagine any self-respecting woman entering into such a agreement on purpose.

I think this was included in Scripture to satisfy the need of a man. I think it is ridiculous to think a women could entirely be okay with sharing a man with another women. I truly believe that women who are okay, have been somewhat brainwashed into this method of thinking. More often than not the Polygamist are invoking their beliefs on Innocent YOUNG women, sometimes children.

adults marrying is okay... but marrying a teenager is so totally wrong!! consenting adults should be able to do as they please.
