It's printing things slower, as in the period of time between clicking "Print" and the printer starting to print has lengthened. It used to take a few seconds, now it takes a few minutes. What's wrong with it? Is is the printer or the computer? What should I do?

This will usually be a faulty cable between your computer and printer. The first thing to try is to replace this cable. Other causes may include too high print resolution or incorrect media type. People are often under the misconception that a higher printer resolution we produce a better print, this is not always the case, and leads to prints taking a long time to produce and a greater use of ink. You should print using the recommended settings for your media and ink type.

It is also worth noting that when using USB cables longer than a couple of meters in length can contribute to a slow down, connecting to a hub instead of directly to the printer can also cause problems.

It's definitely the printer. If it was your computer going bad, as soon as the print job was sent to the printer (as shown on your computer) it would still print in normal times as always. I would say go to the manufacturers' website and try to find help topics on it. If that doesn't help, just invest a little into a new printer.
