Scam, Scam, Scam.
The American Modeling Industry is located in New York City, no where else.
If you want to model, you must live in NYC.
Legitimate Modeling Agencies NEVER charge the prospective for modeling lessons. The agency teaches the model and when the model makes money from modeling assignments, the agents takes it fees.

Newyorkgal, can you please stop insisting that the American modeling industry is only located in New York City? There are reputable agents located in major cities across the U.S. and, while the work that is available isn't as high-end as what can be found in NYC, it is still legitimate modeling work with the same standards of professionalism. I personally know working models in Chicago, San Francisco, Phoenix and the greater Detroit area. OK, it's very intermittent work, but their agents call and send them on go-sees and they've been paid for modeling and the agents then take their cut. No pre-payments; nothing like that. OK?

I am currently in school with this agency. So far I'm in training every other weekend and attending workshops to sharpen up some skills I already have and don't. I have learned alot in my first and can't wait to learn more. It is not a scam!

oh, well i had heard that they try and trap you into this mess about going to their school and that they could care less whether you are succesful or not. Atleast thats what my older cousing told me and shes 25 years old. She said that a "real" agency wouldn't ask you for money they would give you the money.
