Methlayted Spirits remove Ink as well as grass stains, add to a cloth and rub , then rinse straight away . wash with normal washing up liquid and dry

Use alcohol right out of the bottle, or try this.
Magic Marker

When the label reads permanent, that means permanent. Try spraying the spot with foaming shaving cream. Gel does not work but the cheaper brands of foaming shaving cream work just fine. Be sure to protect the work surface. Spray on, wait 30 minutes and rinse in cool water. If that has not lightened the spot then the stain may be permanent.

I don't know what plastic overheads are. You could try the Magic Erasers. They might dull the finish, though, so do a test on an inconspicuous spot. If the Eraser doesn't work, you can use it for other clean up, so it won't be a waste.

I don't know what a plastic overhead is but a good way to remove any kind of ink is nail polish remover.

draw over it with a dry white board marker then wipe off immediately

jif or a creme cleanser or a touch of metholated spirit on a dry cloth.
