I like the variety on Youtube but one thing worries me all the kids posting and the presence of perverts, I speak from experience as my niece posted something and she had all these subscribers and checking on some of the names -mikedashypvs - nawtwood2-tkboy, collegboys, joeboxer2007 nomel999 ooohhhyeah superdancer3 perico20122000 etc they were subscribed to lots of other young girl channels so I advised her to remove the video

I would say that YouTube is good, but that's only because I am a responsible intelligent adult. Any site where kids have the opportunity to freely put up videos, photos, and personal information can be blamed for problems. But it is not the fault of the website. You are a wonderful aunt for keeping tabs on your niece. I'm sure she's not a bad kid, but lots of kids are too naive to realize that they become targets. Keep advising her, she's lucky to have you!!

Kids see the fun in everything but not the side effects, the most innocuous videos can attract people for the wrong reasons it isn't their fault that there are weirdo's out there. It is up to parents to keep an eye on their offspring. As to Youtube it has its fun element

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I say this as I work on moderation of videos every Wednesday. I will gladly search for the content through the listed names and remove it from the site. Assuming I have your permission to do so.
Alternatively you can flag the video and customer service will review the content.
Please note we get hundreds of requests a day and this can be a lengthy processes, and we try our best to remove all violating content as quickly as possible.
