I had my second miscarriage a month ago and they did tests on my baby to find out why. the tests have come back and there was nothing wrong with my baby. i am supposed to get more info on it at my appointment tommorow. a year ago i miscarried because i was on birthcontrol and i am worried that maybe something is wrong with me, that something might Changed inside me to keep me from having anymore kids. i have three amazing kids that i love more than anything, so believe me when i say i am thankful to have them. but my question is, is it possible that the miscarriage i had due to the birth control could have changed something in my blood that would stop me from carrying a baby to term? if that is not possible what other reason could there be for me miscarrying a healthy fetus? i was six weeks pregnant and the guilt i feel for the possibility that it is my fault is overwealming me. what other things could have caused me to miscarry if their was nothing wrong with the baby?

Sometimes mothers have what's called a blighted ovum. There's nothing really wrong...but for some reason, the cells stop dividing. The baby essentially just quits. Sometimes there is a chromosomal issue (which your doctor said isn't the case) and sometimes, the embryo just isn't strong. It's not your fault, but...I'm glad you're going to the doctor. They can explain things much better than I could. Good luck!

First of all, you have done nothing wrong. Nature has taken over and done this for you, for a reason. Unfortunately you never get to know the reason though. I recently had one myself. My baby had no heartbeat when I thought I was 10 weeks, I had to go to hospital to have him removed.
My OBY/GYN told me that I did nothing wrong. I panicked that I ate/drank something but he said, if your foetus is healthy, then there is virtually nothing you can do to hurt it. (Tests have been done to prove this apparently). So rest assured that whatever made you miscarry was a chromosonal problem. I know how hard it is to pick up the pieces and keep trying, but do, if you really want another baby. I struggle everyday with the fact I lost a baby, and have resigned to the fact that I don't think I am ever going to get over it completely, even if I do manage to get pregnant again.
I wish you all the best and hope your dream comes true soon.

Honestly, there is nothing anyone could say to ease your pain. I know that first hand. Every one person is different with how they deal with loss, and miscarriage is a loss too!
There is no easy answer and no reason for knowing why a "healthy" pregnancy would terminate.
I don't think that your BC or your previous misscarriage would cause issues.
You should find some sort of support group if you need to

Not really an answer to your question, but ---

Don't feel guilty about not knowing you were pregnant while on birth control.

Another thing - my grandmother had 9 children born fine out of 13 pregnancies. (1st 1933, last 1954)
