im 18 years old I got my period on Feb 7 2006 when i turned 16. and it lasted for like 4 days. From then on i havent had it in like 5 months and when i did it lasted 2 days. To make a long story short my periods are VERY VERY VERY light and short and i BARELY have them. I think i had my period no more than 4-5 times in 2 years. Does that mean i am UNABLE to conceive children? Im scared. There was also a point where my boyfriend cummed in me like 4 times (seperate days) and i didnt get pregnant. Is there something wrong with me? RIght now i had sex with my boyfriend on Febuary 24 2007 and he cummed in me alot. So its been a week and 2 days allready. I don't know if i am gonna get pregnant. I hav no clue about my body at the moment and i need some advise or help or answers. When can i take a pregnancy test if i havent had my period for over 5 months n its irregular because usualy they say take it after your missed period. i did take the test 5-6 days after we had sex but it was negative.

If you aren't having periods, then you aren't ovulating. Light spotting as you described is usually anovulatory bleeding. There can be many causes of anovulation. It doesn't mean you are infertile, but you do need to investigate the cause.

I highly recommend charting your fertility signs. Your chart can tell you when you are fertile, when you are not, when you are ovulating, when to expect your next period, and when to suspect pregnancy. Your chart can also tell you if there are issues delaying conception or causing difficulty w/ carrying a pregnancy and if there are serious issues which need a doc's attention.

Once you've been charting for a month or 2, you should be able to get an idea of what might be causing the anovulation. It could be a weight issue if you are very underweight (women need about 20% body fat to be fertile) or if you are overweight (fat cells store estrogen and excess estrogen can block ovulation). Thyroid and other gladular issues can cause temporary infertility as well as nutrtional deficits.

Some good sources for charting your fertility signs: Fertilityfriend.com (free software as well as a pay-for version and on-line charting turorial); ovusoft.com (discussion boards for many fertility related issues, much info on fertility after the pill, and a very good software for purchase). The books Taking Charge of Your Fertility (associated w/ the the ovusoft website and software), The Art of Natural Family Planning, and Garden of Fertility

If you mean that u only started getting your period 2 years ago then it might be that your periods haven't gotten regular yet. Do you have a gynecologist? You should, especially since you're having sex. Take another pregnancy test and call your dr. and make an appointment. There are several reasons for not getting a period such as stress and weight loss, but check with your dr. to be sure. Remember that dr.s have heard everything before so don't be afraid to ask anything and be sure to be completely honest with him/her. And if you're not planning to become pregnant use a condom or get on birth control.
Good luck

There are allot of reasons that your period could be light and irregular. Are you underweight? How was your mothers when she was your age? Do you have any other medical issues? It is not a sign that you are infertile. Many women that have regular cycles are infertile and many that don't that get pregnant. You need a doctor for a couple of reasons. First of all are you trying to get pregnant? If so then you should be consulting your doctor. If not then you need to be on birth control. While your there ask about your sporadic period and get a pregnancy test. They can do blood testing that is more accurate.

when i started my period i was the same age as you but i didn't have my next one till three years later. i was told by a doctor if you are into sports and do a lot of excersie that is can make your periods stop and or long for a short period of time. i was told that i could have a child because they irregular or it would be difficult. well after the doctor said that three months later i found out i was pregnant after a year of trying. so don't worry, you young it takes time for things to get right.

It can take up to 30 days to show up on a home pregnancy test. You need to go see a doctor pertaining to your periods. The doctor will put you on birth control to help regulate them.

see your doctor. I had a period every 4 to 6 months it turned out I have an underactive thyroid (hypo thyrodism). And yes you can still get pregnant. There is no relationship to how much ejaculate your boyfriend produced and pregnacy, you can get pregnant from the pre-ejaculate.

You might want to read a few books on reproduction before you have anymore sex.

You do be responsive to that in case you as a Jehovah's Witness ever desire a blood transfusion or an organ transplant, you may desire to no longer get carry of one. which skill you may die. you have 3 possibilities permit your boyfriend supply up his faith, become a Jehovah's Witness and hazard death in what's very almost the stupidest way which you are able to think of, or locate a boyfriend whose kinfolk does not have such ridiculous ideals. i'm hoping that this enables.

Please, go see a doctor. You are playing with fire here!!! This could be nothing at all ~~~ it could be cervical cancer because you are sexually active. Do you want to stake your life on the difference?
