okay so i got a new battery put into my car but every once in a while it won't start and when i leave my car off for an extended period of time i will start it up and all my radio stations will be set back to their default...i'm wondering if it's because the nuts arent on tight enough on the battery..any suggestions??

First clean the battery posts and the cables,tighten securely and then coat the terminals with a light coat of vaseline.Try to find the other end of the negative(black) cable and make sure it's clean and tight.That's the ground cable and on Hondas and Acuras it's very important to have a good ground.

Yes it sound like you have a bad connection to your battery. Get the battery terminals and the connectors cleaned. (A nice wire brush does the trick). Reconnect everything tightly. Loose battery connections can cause the symptoms you're describing.

Do you have to get it charged everytime it won't start? if so, you have a massive parasitic draw on the Battery.
