How much does it cost to go to a movie where you live?

Maybe you like $11.75 more than $10.50, I don't get it.

Stupid questions!!!

I don't know. Maybe if the person sent me a gift certificate for the movie theatre?
It costs 11 bucks per adult here, 9 for a 5-year-old kid. So, 20 bucks before the snacks to take your kid to see a movie you really don't want to watch. You're better off waiting for the DVD. You spend the same amount of oney, and you don't have to watch the movie.
But I digress.
Sorry. I still remember two-fifty Tuesdays.
Okay, that's enough now. I'm just rambling.

well i don't think any question is a stupid question, that's what Q&A is all about, it cost them points , like it just cost you, to post, its all about inquirey minds want to know

as for a movie ticket 15.50, then its the cost of gas the nearest movie theater is 110km away one way, and then popcorn at lest 5.25 for medium and a drink, 4.25, and of course a small chocolate bar 2.00, so wow, no wonder i stay home and rent or buy dvd's, i would be the silly one to spend all that money to watch a movie that is coming out on dvd in 3 - 6 months

best answer, , if you can't decide place it to a vote, who ever wins will appreciate it, i know i would

I think they are just interested in knowing the diffrent price's. there is not always a best answer. yahoo answers was not designed for best answer it was designed to hopefully help people. I couldn't even give a best answer to one of my questions because no one read the question fully and answered things I said not to use. so if i was to award guess I would pick the first person to answer with out some smart allack remark.

I guess what ever answer hits home for you...if you like $11.75 better, then so be it. Me, I pick the best answer for which one I like best, or that may express the closest sentiment to what I was thinking...

I would like the best answer for this question very much.

And as for the movie tickets it cost around $8.25 for adults and $5.25 for kids. I always try to bend down with my knees and pretend to be a kid to save 3 bucks. Doesn't work too well.

You give best answer to whoever gave you additional information beyond what was asked, for your example maybe they said where they lived, or gave a range of prices, or said when the prices went up.

Everyone has their reason for asking something, no PROBLEMO if it is within Yahoo's guidelines. If you don't like a question, don't answer it.

You really cannot becasue that question can vary based on location. So honestly I would say you just would pick a random answer. I suppose I feel now that you should not be able to choose a best answer to a question that has not wrong answer.

Yeah I saw one/answered one asking what the cost of a Big Mac in people's area was.

You've got people pounding in USD, EUR, GBP, AUS, etc... how the hell do ya give a best answer to that, really???

I don't ask questions like that. SO I don't have to pick a best answer, if I am voting and that comes up I would say, "Show me another"
