They tell me that it's better and cheaper to replace the whole bottom wish-bone, than just the bushes. Are there any better bushes than the FOrd one's????

Replace the complete wishbone, its quicker & saves a lot of hassle, the bushes don't always fit back properly(bushing hole sometimes ovals) & then the balljoint is probably worn as well. A replacement costs about 65euros & can be got from any good motor factor...

to just do the bushes will take time to do the complete arm will be about half the time
most non dealers do them halfords ad moter world
ford ones are about 80 quid each
