I saw them last year at Twickenham and even though im a semi-fan im going to be brutally honest with you here and say that they werent up to scratch musically speaking. Yes there was alot of energy and a dazzling stage show but its always been my opinion that if the stage show is too much eye candy you should listen and look closer to truely appreciate what your'e seeing. When i did i was kinda bummed to realise there was a young guitarist filling in the missing notes from Keith Richards and Mick Jagger's voice is nowhere near what it might once have been. So at the end of the day i think if you go and see the Stones now then youre going to see a stage show more than a rock concert so it would appeal more to people who want the whole visual dazzling experience from a stage performace rather than to purists who love to sit at home and listen to the Stones on their stereo.
I guess end of the day i can now after many years say i have seen the Stones and for any rock purist they would probably be on your to see list but i was disappointed.

No, but I have heard Mick Jagger warming up by doing his scales before a show! You could so tell it was him,( I was on the phone to my Pa at the time who was working on their tour), brilliant! I have to say I was star struck, should have been a private time and I heard - Love the Stones.

I haven't seen them, but I can't imagine they would be.

Personally, there's no way I could watch Mike Jagger 'dancing' for that long on stage.

Secondly, I'm not sure if his voice would be true to the songs since he's aged so much. I'm thinking it wouldn't be worth the hundreds of dollars they charge.

Not yet, but they're rumoured to play the IOW festival this year. Would be great to see them there but fear it's just wishful thinking.

Saw them at Twickenham last year. They were amazing. I don't know where Mick, especially, gets his energy from.
