Yes, no doubt about it. And if it was still alive and could be saved and i couldn't find the owner i would still take it to the vet... that would be terrible.

yes because once our cat was ran over by a hit and run driver and it really upset us that the person wouldn't try to contact us or see if the cat was alright. a neighbor found it and brought it to us but we might never have known what happened to him. i would have liked if the driver had contacted us and if i ever am in this situation i would try to find the owner.

Yes I would feal horrible if i didn't! I would pay the vet bill if the animal lived, and if it didn't i would offer to get them a new one! What can I say I love animals! Plus the owner has a right to know what happened to there pet! I know I would be upset if my dog dissapeared and was run over!

yes when I was pregnant I hit a dog and went to the nearest house and I was crying when the man came to the door he thought I was having the baby right then he went crazy, set down he said I'll call for help. When I finally stopped crying he said lady you just took 10 years off my life.

Yes absolutely. After I tried to get the animal to medical attention.

Why did you add "accidentally" do you know a lot of ppl who do it on purpose?

yes :( I'd want someone to contact me. And what you you mean accidentally? Are people out there running animals over on purpose?

If the animal had a labeled collar, yes.

Otherwise I would leave it for the street crew.

And as for them wanting reparations? Not a dime. It is their job to keep the animal contained.

Tes. I would because it's the right thing to do and if someone ran over my precious dog, I would want to know.
