How did Franklin D. Roosevelt contribute to WWII and what or where can I find information about him that relates to WWII?

FDR was president when the US declared war. He did Lend Lease to help England before that. He was commander in cheif for most of the war.

FDR was the president of the USA during almost the entire war. He has been creditted with making the alliance between England, USSR and the United States a success. His efforts to get the economy back on track before the war certainly helped the country respond to the massive build up effort when the war broke out.

he raised taxes to raise money and started building up their army supplies even before the war started. for websites just google it. the internet has everything. wikipedia is a good site.
